What is HR Mentor Academy?
Great question! HR Mentor Academy is a company that partners with HR professionals and students to help them to succeed in Human Resources. This is accomplished with specialized HR training, mentoring and coaching programs that can help to achieve greater purpose, results and recognition in Human Resources. It was founded in 2019 by Alisa Charles, author of “Successful Mentoring in HR” and “90 New Employee Orientation Ideas for HR Professionals”.
Alisa is a certified HR professional (SPHR, SHRM-SCP) who has enjoys partnering with employees and leaders for over 20 years in various HR roles. She began her HR career while in college working in the Student Employment Office where she worked with fellow students with job placement, resume writing and interview skills. Since then, she has spent over 20 years working in several Human Resources roles with multi-site responsibilities for large organizations. In area, regional, and divisional HR leadership roles, she has had the pleasure of coaching and mentoring HR professionals across the country which she truly enjoys.
In addition to her HR background, she is also a Certified Personal and Executive Coach and enjoys helping others achieve their goals.
Who is HR Mentor Mentor Academy For?
We work directly with 1) individuals who are in school in a Human Resources program; 2) early career HR professionals 3) emerging HR leaders and 4) HR professionals interested in mentoring others in HR.
